What are strangers anyway? Peggie led us in a great discussion last night. We discussed chapter 2-Hospitality and Strangers. Though we did discuss who strangers are, most of our discussion was about our heart attitudes towards hospitality. We looked at scriptures that describe who strangers are and what our duty is towards them. Page 55 gives a list of who they are and some verses to look up. And our call? To seek to meet the needs of the strangers that God brings our way, for the gospel's sake.
Here is question that Peggie posed to us...How do we practically show hospitality to strangers? Karen keeps a bit of a package in her car containing food, water and tracks to give to homeless people that she sees. Kathy C. offers to buy them groceries. What are some ways that you fulfill God's call to show hospitality to strangers. Please share with us.
