Are you seeing cross-eyed these days? There is no need to seek treatment. This should be our aim according to our Dianne led discussion on Wednesday night. We need to have the cross always before our eyes, that the "things" of this world would grow dim, as we focus on the brightness of our Lord's glory and truth.
But, practically, how can we live this out. Here are some thoughts from our discussion: Boyce says that we should have a conditioned reflex of always turning to Him at the first sign of trouble. We also need to watch ourselves and our lives very carefully. We need to catch ourselves when we are beginning to listen to the world's way of thinking....before we even begin to follow it. It is necessary to remember who we are. We are God's elect children for whom Christ died. We need to live out this calling.
All of this comes by staying cross-eyed. However, as Dianne reminded us, He always gives more grace!
