Pop Quiz!

And...that is it...the end of our book study on The Secret of Contentment.  Hopefully, the secret is out.   Peggie lead us in this last study and  we had a very good and uplifting evening, in spite of the fact that she gave us an exam!  Can you believe it?  A final exam!  I think we all aced it though, so we are content!  Here is the exam, with all the answers filled in.  It is a very good summary of the whole book:

Chapter 1
You can be content.
You need to learn contentment
True contentment only comes by addressing heart issues.
Chapter 2
Discontent is at the root of much of our sin.
Chapter 3
Contentment reveals the grace of God in our hearts.
Murmuring affects our witness for Christ.
Chapter 4
The contented Christian is the dissatisfied Christian because he longs to know Christ more and be conformed to His image.
Chapter 5
In affliction, the Christian says, "Help me to be content in this situation and to perform the duty of it."
Contentment comes only when we look away from self and rest in God's sovereign control.
Chapter 6
To find contentment, we must subtract from our desires so that our desires and our circumstances are even and equal.
We acquire contentment only by putting covetousness to death.
Chapter 7
The contented Christian recognizes that his citizenship is in Heaven.
For the contented Christian, life is Christ, and death is infinitely more of the same.
Chapter 8
The believer's union with Christ is the source of his joy and contentment.
The believer finds contentment not just because he practices certain disciplines, but rather because in these disciplines, he has intimate communion with Jesus Christ.
Chapter 9
The key to the Christian life, and to achieving godly contentment is dying to self.
The biblical message is that contentment only comes from not being ourselves but instead from being conformed to the image of Christ.
Chapter 10-Conclusion
Happiness can be found neither in ourselves nor in external things, but in God and in ourselves as united to Him.
Godliness with contentment is great gain.  1 Tim. 6:6.

So there you have it, the secret of contentment.  Thanks Peggie for faithfully opening and closing this study!
